Great place for lot of seafood, sushi and Asian buffet. Go with everyone, there will be something for everybody. They even have a chocolate fondue.
The food was good but not extraordinary. If you want a place to stuff yourself with a variety of choices. Then this is a place for you. There's sushi, steak, seafood, fried foods, and lots of Chinese food to choose from. However, the place is not well lit. It could use more lighting to give it a more welcoming atmosphere. And the receptionist was not friendly at all. But there was only one register so probably she was tired.
This is one of my favorite Asian buffet restaurants. Located off the San Gabriel exit on the 60 East bound freeway. Plenty of parking in the front and rear. Big restaurant with plenty of seats inside to accommodate big parties. Like most Asian buffets, it has a good selection of sushi and sashimi, Chinese dishes (including dim sum items), and some American favorites such as roast beef, chicken skewers, chicken nuggets, pizza, garlic bread, French fries, etc. There's also a salad and fruit bar, grill station, desserts, ice cream, and a bar for your alcoholic drinks. Dinner comes with crab legs and other seafood. Dinner price is $24.99 Mon-Thu and $25.99 for Fri-Sun. That's the cheapest dinner buffet ($24.99) that comes with crab legs. Google to see lunch and children's pricing. Most Asian buffets with crab legs start at least $32 or more. Been here many times and will come back. There's also a handicap ramp at the front east entrance for wheelchair accessibility.
This place is great. It was 25.99 ea person on Sunday. They have the largest selection of sushi that I have seen at any buffet. They offer fresh rolls and one deep fried roll. They have sashimi, nigiri as well. Large selection and it tastes fresh. I was quite surprised with the quality for a buffet. They had Mongolian stir fry noodles that u can select from an array of add ons.. great Buffet, definitely coming back here next time I want a good buffet.
Food was alright. Lots of variety. Luckily we didn't encounter bugs in our food or dirty tables and tableware. Only thing was that the cooked seafood dishes were very salty. Heh I made ceviche and used the egg roll skins as the chip.
I come here pretty regularly with my family, BUT it's always on the weekend around lunch time. That being said, it's dinner all day, the place is always busy, and the food turn around/restocking is quick. The big draw to this place is the crab legs. That's really the only reason to go. I don't know any other Asian buffet that has them anymore. The others do have crab, but it's a different kind and often deep fried. Anyhow, my wife and kids love all things crab, so when we have a chance, this place is always a great place for them to load up on crab legs. The availability of crab legs is also awesome. They're stacked up high on ice rather than on a tiny tray where one dude takes everything. I imagine a lot of the lower star reviews are coming from folks that aren't dining at busy times. That's buffet rule #1. You have to go when it's busy, or you risk food that's been out too long, food that should be cold being too warm, and food that should be warm being cold. Do yourself a favor, come here when it's busy. If the parking lot is empty or it's between normal dining hours, you're rolling the dice. This applies to all buffets.
Considering the ratings were less than three stars I was pretty skeptical. However I was pleasantly surprised of the wide variety of foods offered and the better than decent quality. Sushi was good and the hot foods were good too. Crab legs seemed kinda questionable so I stayed away. Didn't have a chance to try the Mongolian bbq but it looked good! Bathroom was definitely not the cleanest in the world. Service was ok. Plenty of seating. Plenty of parking.
